About Somvio: Your Local Cleaning Company in Glasgow
We help people across Glasgow arrange practical, professionally equipped cleaning for their homes. Get to know the experience behind Somvio and how we approach each booking.
Our Story
Our Story: Built on First-Hand Cleaning Experience
Somvio was founded in 2026, drawing on extensive hands-on experience in residential cleaning within the UK. Before launching the business, the founder completed around 1,000 jobs — primarily in apartments and properties used for short-term rentals (such as Airbnb). This experience served as the real base for establishing our cleaning company in Glasgow.
Working in real-world conditions taught us how important the details are. Preparing an apartment for new long-term residents requires a completely different approach than turning over a property for vacationers between guest stays. Families who book regular cleaning services may need consistent support with specific, recurring tasks. Understanding client expectations and having the right equipment are just as important as the final result itself.
We offer a convenient and straightforward booking process for residents of Glasgow and the surrounding areas. Everything is completely transparent: we outline the price, use the appropriate professional equipment, and provide an easy online booking option. Although we are a young team, we are deeply committed to a client-focused approach and to building trusting relationships with those we serve.
The People Cleaning Your Home
Somvio works with self-employed cleaning contractors. We evaluate each cleaner’s experience, references, and practical skills — often through a trial cleaning session. We also give all instructions for each service to ensure cleaners fully understand the requirements.
For regular cleaning services, we aim to assign the same cleaner whenever their schedule allows. This helps them become familiar with your specific preferences and needs. If your regular cleaner is unavailable, we will find a suitable replacement and discuss the available options with you. We value every client, so we make every effort to quickly secure an available cleaner whenever the need arises.
How We Work: Clear Scope, Practical Support
Our professional cleaning company offers a wide range of services. We provide regular cleaning, deep cleaning, end-of-tenancy cleaning, Airbnb turnover cleaning, and post-construction cleaning. We are always happy to give you all of the details about the specifics of any service. Discuss any additional requirements with us in advance. You can also review our service checklist for further details.
We use professional-grade products and equipment for deep cleaning, end-of-tenancy cleaning, and post-construction cleaning. For regular cleaning, we require access to your vacuum cleaner, mop, and bucket. For Airbnb cleaning, we coordinate the details directly with the property owner. Alternatively, we can provide the necessary equipment for a £10 fee. When booking online, you will receive a cost estimate; we will confirm the final price before work begins.
If we missed anything during the cleaning, contact us within 24 hours. We will look into the issue, and if it was our oversight, we will arrange a free re-cleaning of this zone. You can rely on our guarantee and ongoing support.
